Advent Scripture Reading: Peace (Dec. 12)

Reflection

This familiar passage of Advent speaks of the light of Christ which brings hope, peace, and joy to us.  There are four names of God here, “Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace”.  These names are characteristics of God.  Do we rest in his guidance, his power, his love and his peace?  Where might you need to reflect on these characteristics in your life today?
